- References are made to all aspects of creation.
- All creation is to praise God, each entity in the way it was created to do so. For many aspects of creation, it happens by nature, when the entity simply functions the way it was made to function. For humans, it is a matter of the conscious will.
- Praising God is a moral issue. Since humans bear the Image of God, it must be a choice, rather than an involuntary, unconscious act. This is the way humans were created to function; and to not praise God from the heart is to sin.

Praise him in the heavens!

| Psa 148:5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, For he commanded, and they were created.
Psa 148:6 He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away. |
Why? Because he created them and established them to remain forever.

Praise him on the earth!

Why should we praise him?

Because of who he is - greater than all of creation.
Because of what he has done - built-up/strengthened his people, those who belong to him. |
