Joshua 10:8-14

God stills the sun and the moon for nearly a day.


Psalm 72:1-20

"Until the moon is no more" (or something similar) - used figuratively to mean "forever."
Psa 72:5 They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Psa 72:7 In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.


Psalm 104:1-35

Psa 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.
This is a reference to the fourth day of creation, when the sun, moon and stars were made to "rule" over the day and night, and to influence the cycles of life. This passage illustrates how they were intended to rule.


Psalm 148:1-14

Psa 148:3 Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!


Isaiah 30:1-33

The results of their repentance: God will send rain and bountiful blessings. The very ecosystem will be affected.
Example (unless this is a figurative summary): The increased glory of the heavenly bodies will reflect (or symbolize) the glory of that day.
