Job 38:1-38

God controls the weather.
Job 38:34-35 - Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That abundance of waters may cover you? Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go? Do they report to you, 'Here we are?'


Psalm 107:1-43

God raises the storm; he calms the sea. The verses contain a good description of a storm at sea.


Psalm 147:1-20

A description of various types of frozen weather:
Psa 147:15-18 He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly. He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.


Psalm 148:1-14

Psa 148:8 Praise Yahweh ... Lightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
Note the phrase "fulfilling his word." The weather accomplishes his purposes.


Isaiah 30:1-33

About God's judgment: This may include God's use of weather to judge the people.
Isa 30:30 Yahweh will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the descent of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, storm, and hailstones.
