  • A previous verse, describing what God requires of us: Micah 6:8 - "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Mic 6:11 Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights?

Dishonest measures (ephah = a dry measure of approx. 6 gallons), scales and weights - all intended for cheating the customer.
