Exodus 33 and 34 (selected verses)

You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread. (Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.) ... You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year's end.
These three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel. - God would protect their land when they appeared before him.


Leviticus 25:1-55

The Jubilee - a year that is set apart as holy.

Describes the celebrations that took place when the temple was dedicated to God.


Isaiah 1:11-17

God hates religious activities, when they become meaningless rituals, and do not reflect the attitudes of the heart.
