This looks at what we see - we humans, who are created beings - when God interacts with us on our level. It does not describe the ultimate and unchanging nature of God as creator - God on his level of existence.

God interacts with us in varying ways, depending on our changing actions. But he always does so in a way that is consistent with his unchanging nature.

A verse that focuses on God's unchanging nature: Numbers 23:19 Num 23:19 - "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent ["change his mind"]. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?" Even the false prophet Balaam, who spoke these words, knew it was true! Though the word "repent" is found in this verse, the context is different. It focuses on God's unchanging nature and character (as the sovereign God), rather than on his interaction with humans on their level of existence.
