Psalm 18:1-19

This part of the psalm illustrates it. Numerous examples of creation being used to communicate events in life – through illustrations, teaching, symbols, etc.
Rock, fortress, shield, horn, tower – used to describe God.
Cords, floods, snares – used to describe calamity and impending death.
Earthquakes, fire and smoke, burning coals, darkness, wind, dark waters, thick clouds, hailstones, thunder – the coming of God to deliver David.
Arrows, lightning bolts, channels of water; foundations of the world, many waters, a large (spacious) place – God's deliverance.

Psalm 19:1-14

Nature itself communicates truth about God. It happens involuntarily or "naturally." This stands in contrast to the way that people can voluntarily use nature to communicate truth about God. (Since people are the Image of God, they also communicate something about God involuntarily.)
