- When God speaks, what he says happens. Example: the creation of the world, etc.
- Both General Revelation and Special Revelation are described as God's "word." By the one, he governs the world (such as controlling the weather); by the other, he redeems his people.
- Psa 147:15 He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly (controlling the weather, to bring various forms of frozen water). / Psa 147:18 He sends out his word, and melts them...
- Psa 147:19-20 He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. He has not done this for just any nation. They don't know his ordinances. Praise Yah!
