The conditions at the end of this present "Third World" will be similar to those that existed during the days of Noah (at the end of the "Second World").

- v. 1-2 - God's sons saw that men's daughters were beautiful, and they took for themselves wives of all that they chose. What was happening: Breakdown of the family. Intermarriage between the godly and ungodly; worldwide apostasy.
- v. 4 - Nephilim (tyrants) ruling the earth.
- v. 5 - Total and constant wickedness. (This is God's evaluation. It does not mean that the people recognized themselves as evil. Evil people - then and now - normally don't.)
- Gen 6:11-13 - A morally corrupt, violence-filled earth.
