Leviticus 26:1-45

One of the results for continued rebellion - disease/plague.


Numbers 11:1-9, 18-23, 31-34

A very great plague - judgment for complaining about the food God provided, and claiming that the food was better in Egypt.


Numbers 13 & 14 (selected)

The 10 spies who tempted the people to rebel were killed by the plague.


Numbers 16:23-35, 41-50

Korah's rebellion - God began to destroy those who blamed Moses for the deaths of the rebels... 14,700 die by the "plague" (sudden death) before Moses and Aaron had successfully interceded for the people.


Deuteronomy 7:1-26

One of the results of obedience - health.


Deuteronomy 28:1-68

All sorts of health-related issues (diseases, plagues, etc.) related to disobedience. (Several verses full of descriptions.)


1 Kings 8:35-40 & 2 Chronicles 6:26-31

One of the potential judgments that may come as the result of the nations' sin. "Whatever plague or whatever sickness there be..."


1 Kings 9:1-9 & 2 Chronicles 7:12-22

If God sends pestilence (because of their wickedness)... and they repent, God will heal the land.


Job 1 & 2

Job 2:7-8 - So Satan ... struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head. Job took for himself a potsherd to scrape himself with, and he sat among the ashes.


Psalm 107:1-43

A reference to people being afflicted by a wasting disease, until they repented of their foolish disobedience.
Psa 107:18 Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death. - i.e., unable to eat and close to death.
