In Revelation 20, we read about two types of books that will be used at the Day of Judgment:

1. The Book of Life
2. Books of Deeds|The Books of Deeds

These two concepts are found in both Old and New Testaments. They are not well defined at first; but as revelation from God increased, the concepts were developed until we reach their final in the book of Revelation.

Psalm 139:1-24

Psa 139:16 ... In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.

"In your book" - not the "Book of Life"; but a reference to what is described in some passages as "books of deeds," a record of what we do in life.
