In Revelation 20, we read about two types of books that will be used at the Day of Judgment:

1. The Book of Life
2. The Books of Deeds

These two concepts are found in both Old and New Testaments. They are not well defined at first; but as revelation from God increased, the concepts were developed until we reach their final in the book of Revelation.
