Proverbs 27:23-27

Pro 27:25-27 The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in. The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field. There will be plenty of goats' milk for your food, for your family's food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls.
The value of work, since riches (already-accumulated wealth) won't last forever!

Ecclesiastes 2:1-26

Ecc 2:24, 26 - There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it is from the hand of God. ... For to the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him who pleases God. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
This shows that "work for its own sake" is not good... but enjoying the "fruit" of our labor, as received from the hand of God, is!

Ecclesiastes 4:1-16

Several issues related to work and our attitude toward it.
Contentment is better than envy, and is compatible with the joy and satisfaction described in previous chapters.
Cooperation, working together, sharing - These are better than greed. (3 examples given)
