This page focuses on the main issue of how people are to treat land on a daily (or weekly) basis. It does not focus on issues related to judgment - which does sometimes affect the land, as well as the people.

Exodus 23:10-12

Exo 23:10-11 "For six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in its increase, but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, ... In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard and with your olive grove.

Leviticus 25:1-55

Every 7th year... no planting / harvesting. The land must be given a rest. (Trust God to provide food.)

Also every 50th year.
