Job 38:39-41; 39:1-30

Unlike the ostrich, God has given the stork the desire to care for its young.
In this passage, the word is translated by some as "love," and by others as "stork." This is because the Hebrew word from which the stork took its name, means “kindness” or "love." The word "love" is used as a descriptive word for the "stork," because of the way the stork takes care of its young. (Contrast this to the loud, noisy ostrich, which is "carefree" - having care for nothing, not even for its own offspring!)
