Genesis 35:1 - God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel, and live there. Make there an altar to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother."

He says "make an altar to God," rather than "make an altar to me."

Exodus 19:3-25

In this passage, God refers to himself in "third person" form. In describing himself, he says "Yahweh" and "he," instead of "me" and "I."
Yahweh said to him, "... don't let the priests and the people break through to come up to Yahweh, lest he break forth on them."
