These articles are not here to gratify idle speculation or to provide a
supposed "timeline" for everything that is going to happen in the
future. Such things are not the focus of the Bible, so it shouldn't be
ours, either.
The Bible tells us that the end will come, and that we are to be
expectant and ready - whether or not it comes in our lifetime.
There may be events that seem to suggest that the end is near, but the
presence (or absence) of such events is not to be the basis of our
readiness. Instead, love, faithfulness and obedience should be
the basis for our readiness.
Many of the conditions that will occur at the end have occurred
before. The big difference is the intensity of those events. This is
one of the reasons that, down through the centuries, people have
often thought the end had almost arrived. Yet is is also because of
this, that we can benefit from the encouragements (and warnings) given
to people in the end times, even if we aren't there yet.
The following articles look at some of the issues and concepts
related to the end times. They are like small "snapshots" of a larger
concept, and do not cover everything.

"Seven Seals" (Revelation 6 - 8) to Jesus' Account of the
End Times |
There are some striking similarities between what
Jesus says in the gospel accounts, and what John says in the book of
Revelation. (Should we be surprised? Of course not!)

The following links take you to a worksheet that shows
the relationship between the three parallel passages (in Matthew,
Mark and Luke) which give us Jesus' account of the end times. Each
account has a slightly different focus, but they all fit together as
one unified message.

Israel's Future in Prophecy |
Israel has a very significant role in end-times
prophecy, yet it's not because Israel deserves it. Rather, it is

Jesus says...
"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to
everyone according to what he has done." (Revelation 22:12)
Our only appropriate response...
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every
effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. (2 Peter
3:14)
