Genesis 1:1 - 2:3 - Gen 1:27 - "God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them."

"MAN" is defined as "IMAGE OF GOD" and as "MALE AND FEMALE."


Genesis 2:4-25 - How male and female were created - the differences - and the significance of those differences in the way they relate to each other; the nature of marriage, etc.


Genesis 3:1-24 - has comments related to a related issue: Husband-Wife Relationship.

Genesis 5:1-32 - repeats the Genesis 1 concept, slightly different wording. They are to be called man (the same word also translated as "Adam").
