The wicked distort Scripture's description of God. They distort the concepts that describe him. This influences their whole concept of reality.

One example of this: Scripture characterizes God as both "filled with love" and "righteous and just." Yet the wicked often treat "love" and "justice" as opposites; and claim that a "loving God" would not (and could not) judge people and "send them to hell"!
