A reference to the Day of Justice, the time when the statement, "God punishes the evil and rewards the righteous" will be fully realized, and there will be no more injustice.

Psalm 107:1-43

Psa 107:42 "The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths." WHY? Because they would recognize that God blesses the righteous and judges the wicked.
COMMENT: The emphasis here is on the group; individuals sometimes have to wait until the final Day of Justice, in order for this to be fully applicable to them.

Ecclesiastes 1:1-18

In the search for meaning, the day that all things will be given their final significance is still in the future. It is the Day of Justice (or judgment). (We are reminded of this later in the book of Ecclesiastes.)

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22

There is "beauty" or design in what God is doing. His sovereignty is purposeful, not random; and guarantees that everything will fit together as it ought, "in its time." However, we will not always recognize the design at the present, because some aspects of it will not happen until the final Day of Justice. At the present, horrible things may occur (like the injustice and oppression mentioned in v. 16).

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Ecc 12:14 For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.

Isaiah 26:19-21

Isa 26:21 For, behold, Yahweh comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.
Right now, the blood/bodies of the slain are "hidden" in the earth. On the Day of Judgment (or from the perspective of the murdered, the Day of Justice, it will no longer be so; those who are guilty of murder will be punished. (A general statement about judgment for iniquity is also given.)

Isaiah 30:1-33

God's judgment will also be an expression of his justice, something that the righteous delight in.
